Care Instructions

Always burn candles on a flat, heat-proof surface free from drafts. To prevent wax tunnelling, burn the candle till the top surface of the wax is completely melted for each burn. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time and never leave a lit candle unattended. After blowing out the flame, re-center the wick if necessary. Cut the wick after each burn before relighting to avoid high flames, smoking and sooting. Follow these steps to enjoy a clean, even burn.

Once your candle is spent, scrape out any remaining wax with a spoon, wash with warm, soapy water, then clean and enjoy using the Hya ceramic vessel for a variety of uses. We love repurposing our Hya Candle vessel to store keys, knick knacks or even spices from our pantry.
